Pedal The Plains Bicycle Tour (PTP)

 Saddle up! It's going to be a wild ride! Registration is now open! 

 Kersey will play host to an Ultimate Frisbee pick-up game, Thursday, September 14th, 5:50_pm to 6:30_pm, Centennial Park. That event is free. Feel free to stop-by, and meet your fellow PTP participants! 

 The sixth annual Pedal The Plains Bicycle Tour features the open range and star-filled nights of eastern Colorado, a region steeped in history and bound together by its hometown values. 

 Join us this September as we roam vast beautiful grasslands.  

 A celebration of cycling culture: this landmark event combines great rides, delicious eats, and friends.


Routes


 The 3-Day Tour will take participants on a 177-or 233-mile adventure, as they cycle through countryside woven together like a quilt stitched with golden, chocolate, and emerald patches. 

 

2017 PTP: Kersey, Keenesburg and Brush!.  This year's tour will take participants on a 177-mile adventure: visiting local farms and ranches; and, a free entry to The Wild Animal Sanctuary


 Registration fee includes: camping space; showers; transportation of one bag (up to 70 lbs); shuttle services; admission to The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg; entertainment in host towns; aid stations; bike techs; SAG vehicles; medical support; a PTP jersey and water bottle; on-route lunch; rider’s map book; and, finisher medal. Three-day cyclists may also elect to ride the “Century-PLUS Ride," Saturday, free of charge.

 Price
Regular – $280; or,
Walk-On – $295.
