Bike to Work Day happened this year on June 22nd and it was a big one! The club had 4 members in attendance working a booth at Colorado State University's "Oval" station. We approached cyclists and asked if they heard about our club, and touched on expectations and ride levels. We handed out FCCC business cards and provided water for refilling bottles. CSU's station had more than 10 booths (including us) serving many free treats like lemonade, donuts, and breakfast burritos. Over 1100 cyclists visited the CSU station and over 22,000 visits were recorded at all stations across town, breaking an attendance record set in 2019. It was estimated that around 6000 cyclists participated which means that on average each cyclist visited 3-4 stations.
Bike to Work Day occurs every year in June and is a ton of fun. The next Winter Bike to Work Day will be on Feb 10th, 2023. See https://www.fcgov.com/bicycling/bikewinter for more details and we hope to see you there!
