Wanda’s Ride - August 12/13, 2023
It's time for you to register for Wanda’s Ride! Registration ends Wednesday, August 9th so we can provide a count of lunch participants to Grey Rock. The ride starts Saturday, August 12th at 8:00 AM at Grey Rock Sports Grill. In case of bad weather, we'll push it to August 13th - please check the website Friday evening to double-check the date. Lunch will be provided by Grey Rock, cost is $15 per person. See theclub calendar event for more details.
Club Camping Trip - August 18-20, 2023
Mark your calendar! Our camping trip this year will be at Estes Park on August 18-20, 2023.There is one site remaining for registration due to a cancellation and there are also several openings to share sites. Email vicepresident@fccycleclub.org for details.

$100 for two nights, paid at time of reservation

2 tents or 1 RV and a tent per site, 6 people maximum

Water and vault toilets are present but showers are not available.
Cabins are available to rent but you must make your own reservations. Cost is $145 per night. Cabins are rustic, sleep up to 8, and include a propane stove and nearby vault toilet (outhouse).

Daily entrance permits are required, cost is $10 per day.
Three rides are planned: two on Saturday, and one on Sunday. Seethe club calendar eventfor more details.

Are you interested in buying a different jersey, bibs, jacket, or other club-branded product? Please let us know via email toboard@fccycleclub.org. We are starting to plan another sale. There are minimum order quantities that we have to meet for each type of item, so we will only offer those with enough demand. So far, demand appears to be zero.

Though the club won’t be affiliated with any of these, I wanted to include them to increase visibility for these events.!
National Cycling League Cup - August 13th in Denver - Free with registration
The NCL Cup is a series of professional cycling races across the United States sporting an entirely new format where points are earned each lap. There are a few bike races to spectate as well as other fun events like a block party and expo.
Venus De Miles - August 26th in Lyons - $125
Venus de Miles is Colorado’s first and finest all-women’s bike ride and celebration of sisterhood. Join them for a rewarding road ride alongside other women from Colorado and around the country. This will be the 16th year for the event. https://www.venusdemiles.com/
Tour De Fat - August 26th in Fort Collins - Free
Celebrating 24 years this year, Tour de Fat is an annual event hosted by Fort Collins-based, New Belgium Brewing Company. Tour de Fat features a day packed full of FREE festivities celebrating beer, bikes, and bemusement. Over its 20+ year history, Tour de Fat has raised nearly $6 million dollars for local bike nonprofits nationally.
