    HIGHLIGHTS FROM NOVEMBER MEMBERS MEETING

    • Geoff Landon was elected President and Jeff Proulx was elected Secretary, replacing Bill McDonough and Charles Fahselt.  Many thanks to Bill and Charles for their service as President and Secretary of the Fort Collins Cycling Club!
    • Members who are looking to clean out their gear closet and are looking for year end tax deductions should consider the Fort Collins Bicycle Co-Op.  They are dedicated to providing bikes and gear to people in need, and will take virtually anything that can be used to build, repair, or ride a bike.  As a 501c3 registered non-profit organization, all donations are tax deductible.  They are located at 1501 N. College Avenue in FoCo, phone (970) 484-3804.  Hours vary.  Here is a link to their web page for more info:  https://fcbikecoop.org/
    • Doug Whitman shared information regarding a Montana bike tour he and other club members have enjoyed in recent years.  It's a fully supported week long tour of a spectacularly beautiful state.  More info can be found here:  https://montanatour.org/
    • Winter Bike To Work (Or Wherever) Day is scheduled for Friday, February 9th from 7am to 9:30am.  As we have in the past, FCCC will be hosting an aid station somewhere near the CSU campus.  Purpose of the event is to provide a nice morning snack for cyclists, promote cycling, and for FCCC to raise awareness and hopefully recruit members.  We need volunteers.  If you would like to participate, please contact the Board (board@fccycleclub.org).
    • A calendar of 2024 riding events has been added to the January Member Meeting Invitation (see below).  This is intended to be a resource for members to help get familiar with some of the great group rides in the area, include website, registration info, etc.  If you are interested and would like to connect with other club members for logistical or training opportunities, the Band App and Facebook page are available for you to reach out.

NEXT MEMBER MEETING JANUARY 30TH, 7:00 PM

Due to the holiday season there will not be a member meeting in December.  Next meeting will be held on January 30th.  A link to the information page follows:  https://fccycleclub.org/event-5386037
